I ordered pontoons for the Trex 600. I finally got the courage up to actually attach them last night.

It was a near disaster because I didn't read the fine print (OK it wasn't fine, it was in bold letters).

"Do NOT have negative pitch upon spooling up or landing or it will push the helicopter into the water."

You can see what happened.

After getting my 'Normal' pitch to be 0 degrees up until mid-stick, things worked out better.

Anyway, a lot of fun and the biggest heliport in the world. :-)
