As usual we will be meeting the first Tuesday of the month, in this case March 2nd, at Craig's Party Room. As one of the last indoor meetings, we will again do the swap. Bring helis and parts you want to sell and bring an appetite to buy same.

Membership and Treasury report - Hal Roberts

Discussion of Freeze Fly - It was a huge success this year, partly due to the fantastic weather. This brings up the subject of whether we should have a 'rain date' for the FF. We could plan a FF date early February and have a backup date late February. As the day approached, perhaps the day before, we make a call whether to delay for a better chance at weather.

In the last four years we have had:

• Worst 2007 - Temperature negative 20, wind 20mph, sunny.
• Best 2010- Temperature 30, wind 5mph, sunny.

2008 and 2009 were marginal and cloudy.

What to do with MRCHA membership dues?

The last few years we have used MRCHA dues to pay for food and drink at MRCHA fly ins and to offer a $5 discount to the Rotary Ring Out. Last year we used dues to prime the pump for Craig's indoor fly-ins, which lost money last year (although encouraged membership so not really).

However the treasury is increasing and we have some extra cash. So we can consider:

1. Increase number of mini-MRCHA fun flys during spring and summer, with food and drink sponsored by MRCHA.

2. Increase sponsorship of Rotary Ring Out to get professional pilots etc. 3. Other ideas. MRCHA Fun Flys Plan out 2010 MRCHA Fun Flys Heli Presentation Hal will present his 'How to Crash a Heli for Dummies' lecture.
