MRCHA Forum Rules/Guidelines

Guidelines for using the MRCHA forums are currently in development. Anyone with ideas for helpful things to add should let the webmaster know.

For now, here are a few items to consider when using these forums:

• Only MRCHA members can post to these forums, but anyone can read them. Expect posted content to be searched and indexed by Internet search engines like Google and MSN.
• Only one photo can be inserted per posting. This is a limitation of the forum software, not a configuration choice that MRCHA administrators have made.
• The maximum photo size is 499x499 pixels and/or 2 Megs. There are many people without broadband Internet connections that may find our forums difficult to use if they have large attachments. In addition large photos will spill off the page and are hard to view.
• Posting huge photos may cause pages to take a long time to load. If you have numerous photos you would like to share, consider placing them in the photo gallery instead of the forums.
• Avatars can be uploaded to personalize your posts. There are 3 sizes allowed, 50x50, 100x100, and 250x250 pixels and/or 2 Megs in file size. To upload your avatar, go to Upload Avatar in Forums and under 'My Profile'
